Five Finger Contract

I have been Outdoor Pursuit for about two and a half months now, and I think I understand why Mr. Heasman told us to understand the five finger contract. I like how each finger makes sense with what it is paired with. There is not random match just because there was an extra finger. (Does that make sense?)
Safety, Commitment, Respect, Not pointing fingers and having a positive attitude are all important in this class. We have to understand that not all the activities we are doing are easy to do without being careful. Commitment is important because we shouldn't give up on a task if it is hard, or not exciting. Also, show commitment to the group so everyone knows that they can trust them. Respecting the group is the most important. If one person doesn't feel respected, then they also might not feel safe, or the group being committed to them, feel like the blame is always on them, or even there effect their attitude. Clearly respect is the most important. Also, take the blame or don't poke fingers. Take the blame as a group. You win as a team and you lose as a team. Last is having  positive attitude. It will make the over all experience more fun, and you will be more of a delight to be around. I think every class should have the contract. It is important to have in any group.
